Welcome to our new look web site. We hope you will find this easier to navigate through and therefore easier to gain the information you require. In addition we will be using this section to update you with the various enhancements and changes we make through the year.
Late spring is starting to merge into early summer and here at Little Glebe Farm we have a host of new animal arrivals. Our geese have successfully hatched their little brood and the goslings seem to grow bigger each day. She managed to hatch four out of the six eggs she was sitting on but alas only three made it past the first day: nature can be harsh.
We have taken delivery of two new pigs, both Saddlebacks although neither of then seems to have a saddle! They are already rooting around digging up everything they come into contact with.
Our eggs have hatched and we have an additional two ducks, four turkeys and five chickens to add to the growing livestock collection which includes twelve ex batery hens. It would seem that the poor things have never been out doors before! We'll see how they cope!?
